The DCR-7900ZD 0.79x wide-angle lens is a high definition conversion lens
made to broaden the field of view when attached on the digital camera's
lens, and it's fabricated with two of the high index optical glass,
resulting in a high resolution power of 230 lines/mm at center (MTF30%) at center. It achieved the level of almost non-distortion, 0.92% rate.
It creates an unusually fine and non distorted wide angle image. It can
be mounted direct onto the camera's 58mm filter thread. For other than
58mm filter thread camera or holder, apply the appropriately sized adapter
ring sold separately. DCR-7900ZD has been discontinued its production in April 2012.

How to exchange the adapter ring to the ring of other than 58mm thread.
Follow the instructions 1 to 3. The DCR-7900ZD lens comes with an adapter
ring of 58mm thread as an original package.
When using with the camera of other than 58mm thread mount, please exchange
the original adapter ring with the Raynox recommended adapter ring (sold
separately) made to fit the specific camera.
①-② : First, remove the original ring by turning it anti-clockwise.
③ : Mount the recommended ring turning in clockwise. |

● When using DCR-7900ZD on D-SLR camera lens, It is recommended to set the
camera's F stop slower than F14. Taking an image when the camera's aperture
opening of F12 or faster than F12 may cause appearance of soft focus on
corners image.
● The specifications and cosmetic designs may change without a notice.
● Screw-thread pitch size is 0.75mm unless specified.
●Exposing the conversion lens to a warm atmosphere in an instant way from the cold area may create some dew on and inside the lens. When it happened inside the lens, keep the lens in a dry area till the dew disappear before using. Repeating such may leave dirt spot - (mildew) and affect the image.
●All of Raynox conversion lenses are proudly made in Japan. At our owned manufacturing subsidiary, every stage of production is rigorously checked and tested so that the lens elements compensate effectively for astigmatism, distortion and spherical aberration.... for an excellent image quality.
